Equipments
The RF Wireless Research Lab has a range of advanced hardware and software tools including spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers, CST studio suite, and ADS for conducting wireless communication research.
Anechoic Chamber
An anechoic chamber absorbs all sound and electromagnetic waves, creating an ideal environment for testing audio equipment, performing acoustic experiments, and measuring noise levels and EMI of products. Industries such as automotive, aerospace, and telecommunications widely use anechoic chambers. Additionally, researchers use them to study sound propagation and other auditory phenomena.
Spectrum Analyzer
The Anritsu Field Master Pro MS2090A is a real-time spectrum analyzer with a frequency coverage of 9 kHz to 54 GHz. It can analyze various wireless technologies such as 5G, LTE, wireless backhaul, aerospace/defense, satellite systems, and radar. It has an analysis bandwidth of up to 110 MHz and can perform 5GNR base station measurements.
Antenna Prototyping Machine
The PCB & Antenna prototyping machine is a versatile tool that can drill, mill and route bare PC boards. It has a minimum track width of 4 mils and can process materials up to a maximum thickness of 10mm (0.4 inches).
Vector Network Analyzer
The ShockLineâ„¢ MS46322B series is a line of economy vector network analyzers (VNAs) that have a broad frequency range from 1 MHz to 43.5 GHz, with a frequency resolution of 1Hz. These VNAs feature 2 ports and are capable of accurately analyzing high frequency signals.

ADS can also perform electromagnetic simulations, signal integrity analysis, and optimization of designs for parameters such as power consumption, noise, and distortion. The software includes various modules for different types of design, such as RFIC, MMIC, and system-level designs
