The RF and Wireless Research Laboratory is set up in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, IIIT Allahabad with an intention to strengthen the research in the area of RF/Microwave and Wireless Communication. The lab is funded by DST-FIST (Fund for Improvement of R&D Infrastructure (FIST) program with sanctioning amount of INR 114 Lakh.

In order to serve the research needs of academia, and industry clients and to provide expedited support in high-end research, the facility at the RF and Wireless Laboratory will be available on minimum charge basis.

Design

RF and wireless research laboratory will facilitate designing efficient antennas and circuits for signal processing.

Fabricate

RF and wireless laboratory will facilitate cleanroom and PCB fabrication to create precise electronic devices.

Test

The users can performs antenna and environmental testing to evaluate performance and durability of RF and wireless devices under varying conditions.

The RF and Wireless Research Laboratory conducts research on wireless communication systems, with a focus on next-generation networks, and also prioritizes antenna design and testing, RF component fabrication, and electromagnetic compatibility analysis. We conduct cutting-edge research on novel antenna designs, fabricate RF components using advanced semiconductor techniques, and investigate the electromagnetic compatibility of wireless devices and systems to ensure optimal performance. Our diverse research agenda enables us to tackle various challenges in wireless communications and develop innovative solutions for society’s benefit.
